He is one truly fascinating and conflicting character. He is sort of a spirit – a ghostly forest keeper of Half-Pint Island. Yet he is still a confused boy who is longing for friends and companionship since this job he has, is extremely lonely. Sometimes he just leaves his secret underground cave at night and sits on Snupsi’s grandparents’ garden bench. His loneliness and wish to have a true friend create quite a bit of action and mess on the island.
